Port of Newcastle’s values influence how we develop our strategy, how we measure performance, how we treat our colleagues and how we approach our work at PON. The Opportunity:The Senior Manager Project Delivery will lead a highly capable team to implement strategic programs as well as project planning and management. Reporting to the Executive Manager Infrastructure Services, the role is highly visible and interactive, working closely with the broader Infrastructure Services department and other key internal and external stakeholders. The role will provide strategic advisory services and oversee the management of projects from initiation through to planning, execution and closure.   What you will bring:You will have completed tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related discipline, along with 10+ years’ experience in the management of significant programs ($50M - $100M) of capital and/or maintenance works, with some of this experience being from within the Port industry. You will be able to demonstrate your superior project management skills in relation to multi-disciplinary works, as well as your extensive experience in the procurement and management of consultants from both technical and non-technical areas. You will possess strong leadership experience and skills, and the ability to work with a high degree of independence while meeting deadlines and responding to changing work priorities.
