Port of Newcastle’s values influence how we develop our strategy, how we measure performance, how we treat our colleagues and how we approach our work at PON. The Opportunity:The Mayfield Terminal Superintendent coordinates safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible shipping and cargo activities. This role oversees operational activity at the Mayfield and Carrington berths, liaises with customer representatives and service providers, and provides recommendations to Operations Management regarding berth utilisation, infrastructure, and equipment performance as well as stevedoring and service provider activity. What you will bring:Your supervisory experience in logistics (transport, stevedoring, warehousing and distribution) and hands on approach will be key to securing this role. You will demonstrate effective relationship management and influencing skills with a wide range of stakeholders. Current driver licence, forklift and CO crane licences (or ability to obtain) are essential, and you must be able to pass all background checks associated with attaining a Maritime Security Identification Card.
