The Opportunity:The Senior Manager Business Development contributes to the strategic direction for PON’s business development and oversees the implementation of the strategy, identifying and delivering new customer, business, and revenue outcomes.The role manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders and directs negotiation strategies for business development opportunities. It is responsible for managing the business development process from identification of opportunities, financial feasibility review, progressing strategies, and negotiation of appropriate agreements.This position is highly visible and requires a high level of leadership, communication and influencing skills. What you will bring:Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field are essential (logistics, project management, shipping, ports, or the distribution and consolidation of cargo), as is previous leadership experience.Your strong communication skills and well-developed strategic, conceptual and analytical skills (including data modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis) will be well utilised. You must thrive in an environment that works under pressure to meet deadlines and handle conflicting priorities with a high degree of attention to detail.
