Sitting within the Legal team, The Planning Manager will support other business units with all planning related activities with minimal supervision. It will provide significant input at a strategic level, including managing compliance under NSW planning legislation and requirements; developing systems and providing advice on planning issues to ensure that development in and around the Port is appropriate and supports the objects and functions of PON.Some key areas of focus include the coordination of land utilisation activities including the preparation of concept plans and development applications to facilitate new trade and develop facilities for both PON and potential customers as well as supporting new business opportunities through planning, construction, and operational phases. The role has a collaborative focus and will be required to work closely with other key stakeholders both internally and externallyWhat you will bring:Your well-developed interpersonal, influencing and communication skills will be invaluable in this position.
